Sinopec Zhenhai CFBC Boiler Island Project, Ningbo, P.R.C. |
IDS, Engineering
Subcontractor to Foster Wheeler Energy Corporation for two (2) new 220 tons/hr
Foster Wheeler CFBC boilers, located in Ningbo, Peoples Republic of China.
IDS has provided Plant Design, Stress Engineering and Design/Drafting support on
several supporting systems for the Zhenhai project. Areas of technical support
include the design and engineering of the Plant General Arrangement layout and
design, equipment interference checking, Air Heater design, Primary & Secondary
Combustion Air ducting systems, Flue Gas ducting system, Ash Hopper design and
all associated load calculations, duct support design and platework stiffening.
IDS has also provided FWEC with in office Plant Design support
throughout the design phase of the project. IDS personnel coordinated with the
project team to develop the Plant 3-D Models and project General Arrangement
drawings and documentation. |

IDS, Engineering
Subcontractor to Foster Wheeler Energy Corporation for the installation
of three (3) 230 MWe each, Foster Wheeler Pyropower CFBC Boiler Units,
located in Bogatynia, Poland.
IDS is providing project support in the areas of Plant Design, Stress
Engineering and Design/Drafting on various supporting systems for the
Turow project. Areas of technical support include; Boiler Feedwater and
Steam Circulation piping, Interconnecting piping, Main Steam piping,
balance of plant piping, Steam Blow piping and all associated support
design and detailing. Also, mechanical system design and engineering
including, Fuel Feed, Limestone, Combustion Air ducting, Flue Gas
ducting, Ash handling and all associated load calculations, thermal
expansion movements and support designs.
IDS also providing on site engineering and design support at the Turow
job site during the construction phase of the project. IDS personnel
are assisting the construction management team with, developing As-Built
documentation, plant walkdowns of mechanical equipment, field routing
and design of small bore piping systems such as; Spraywater piping,
Sootblower piping, Vent & Drain piping, field design and engineering
recommendations, equipment interference checking, construction deviation
report tracking, scheduling and document control. |
